Leki CARBON 14 3D WOMEN'S Poles

Does anyone use the "snap in" Leki poles? I'm just wondering if the piece that fits on the glove will work with Hestra Heli mittens, which tend to be a bit bulky. I like their integrated mittens, but I don't want to be unable to use my three pairs of Hestras!

I use them on my size 9 Hestra Extreme mittens which are huge and bulky. You can get different sizes for the hand strap separately as well.

I use them on my Dakine Titan mittens and they are quite bulky, maybe because I wasn't paying attention and bought the men's model :noidea:

A couple things....
Yes I use the Leki Trigger Grip poles and I have several pair of their gloves and mittens. (I'll elaborate more below)
You can absolutely use your Hestras with the straps that come with the poles. You can also buy extra straps if you'd prefer to leave straps on several pair of gloves and mittens.

In full disclosure, Leki is a title sponsor of my website so I get samples of new product from them so we can write reviews about it.
I have three pair of gloves from them and two pair of mittens, all of which I feel are on par with Hestra, and in some ways I like Leki's mittens better.
I, as well as @mustski have the Glace Mitten which is the most amazingly warm mitten! My hands run cold and I've never experienced any other mitten from any manufacturer, even Hestra, to be as cozy and warm as the Leki Glace.

NOTE: When I tested these originally this is what I found...Leki has the Trigger S and Trigger 3D. You can use the 3D mittens/gloves/straps with S or 3D Trigger Poles, but you can not use the S mittens/gloves/straps with the 3D because the S loop is ever-so-slightly smaller.
I have been told that they have fixed this and the S/3D are the same size loop, but I wanted to warn you ahead of time.

Here is a video overview we produced on Youtube from 2 years ago (some of my glove/mitten quiver has changed)

I do have multiple sets of straps so I can leave them on different gloves. Mine customarily are on one or the other pair of Chaval heated gloves which are pretty bulky. When the weather gets warmer I put them on other gloves.

Beautiful. Thank you @MissySki . I ended up ordering the integrated Leki Glace mittens anyway -- because I love the color and because a girl cannot have too much ski gear.
I have those mittens, too. They are so soft, and I’m a sucker for nice textures. I also have a pair of Leki Snowfox gloves with the same soft fuzzy lining as the mittens.

I will say, I like their gloves and mittens better than fiddling with the straps but that's me and I am fortunate enough to have lots of options.

I mean, the strap is okay for my right hand but I feel like I got a lotta drama going on with my left wrist.
base layer
mid layer
shell with pass pocket
watch
mitten/glove
strap

Eliminating the strap from this makes my life easier.

I find this interesting because I don’t find the straps to be noticeable outside of when you put them on to begin with or if you move them over to another glove/mitten. But I use the Hestra Extreme mitt that has a huge gauntlet, which is one of the things I love about them. Goes right over my jacket sleeves, and therefore anything going on underneath. Nothing to fiddle with at all.

Strangely, I have had like 4 people this season randomly compliment me on my mittens this season on the lift. They love the big gauntlet… I do too but have never had others mention it before lol.

It could be just me.
I am spoiled and really enjoy the variety of mittens and gloves I have from Leki
