Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort

I'm going to be in Vegas March 19-22 for a conference and have some free time. I just found out about this ski area https://www.skilasvegas.com/winter/index.html

Does anyone know anything about it? It looks very small, and conditions will be spring conditions, but who cares? To me, it sounds better than spending time on The Strip!

Should I pack my boots (or perhaps skis, too?)

Take the boots!

I just checked the website. This doesn't look half bad! Why not at least bring your boots? Heck, I'd be bringing skis too! Well, maybe not...times have changed since I last flew anywhere to ski (pre 9/11). Looks like spring conditions, as you said. I think it might be fun!!

When DH traveled, I used to urge him to take his boots along and grab a ski day on his more exotic travels. This wound up being a July 5 in Australia, a New Year's Day in Austria, a March day at Cortina, Italy - you know, the "usual" stuff. Surely anything to the PNW. (not much in his line of work in CO or UT, alas)

The weather there looks beautiful, not that far from LV. Wonder if they have slot machines at the resort?
Probably...

you won't get lost there, that's for sure! Go for it, bring the boots (carry on!)

Yeah, why not? It looks kind of pretty and at the very least it's a good excuse to soak up some rays.

Hmmmm MSL....slot machines in the lodge....I wouldn't put it past Nevada.....they have them EVERYWHERE out there!

I can picture it now: 5 people sitting around the blackjack table--with ski boots on!:loco:
