K2 Escape 5500?

Hi Polly, and welcome to the site! I don't have any experience with this model K2, but off the top of my head I remember it to be an intermediate and up level ski. The 5500 is several years old at this point, but seemed to be well regarded at the time.

My boyfriend had a pair of K2 5500's in 1986--higher end white straight skis with red, blue, and gray numbers. Total classics. Kinda cool they've brought the name back, hope I see some.
