Julbo Reactiv 0-4, anyone have any experience with these?

I am looking to replace my old Giro Moxies goggles with something nicer. Apparently Julbo has ski goggles that has some sort of magic in them where they transition and adapt to whatever visibility conditions you are in. They claim that they can go from totally clear to dark, basically eliminating the need to change out your lenses in between runs. Does anyone have any experience with these types of lenses? Or own these particular goggles and can give me a quick real review of them? I feel like everything I find online about them are from people with paid sponsorships. Here is a link to them if you are curious: Julbo REACTIV 0-4 High Contrast

Phot chromic lenses are not new. I had a pair of regular glasses in high school. But the reaction time etc is so much better. I'm just saying it's not "magic".

Interested to hear how good they are now.

I hava some Julbo "photochromic" lenses that I bought a few yrs ago and I was very dissatisfied with their performance, so I basically gave up on photochromic lenses until I decided to give the new Tempest Optics photochromic lenses, since I was very happy with my Tempest goggles. Here's my discussion about them; the entire thread is worth reading. Spoiler: I love them!

My husband bought these about a week ago and was happy with them so I got a pair and used for the first time today--they seemed great, but I can't comment on how they would be in flat light or on a storm day. I got the ones with the "flow" venting b/c I often have fog issues on stormy days.
