I've been married WAY too long...

So today, DH and I exchange Valentine's Day cards. We're not real big on the holidays, but we do try to acknowledge the date with a card and some candy. We are going to be driving all day on the 14th, so we decided to do V-D a bit early.

Hand over the cards.

Look at them and smile.

Open the cards, and we both bust out laughing.

We had gotten each other the EXACT SAME CARD!

I don't know that that's ever happened before, but after 14+ years of marriage I guess we know each other too well.

I love it! :ROTF:

Haven't done that, but I've gotten him the same card a couple years in a row.

THAT'S when you know you're getting old.

 Good one, Ski Diva! Same card, love it!

Happy Valentine's Day to all! I got DH kind of a cool present: a whole season of Skiing magazine - from 1968 - the year he started skiing! What a find, and they are in pristine condition. The ads alone are worth the cost. But the cost was a whole $5 :becky: Another amazing ebay find.

I might try to do some scanning and uploading at some point and see if it will work for posting. There's stuff in these issues that's worth sharing.

What a great gift! That's the same year I started skiing! I bet it's a hoot to look at. Scan some things, if you can.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MSL!!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY MSL!!
Thanks, friend! Good day at the Riv, pretty mellow - what they groomed out broke up the ice-slab covering the 10" of new. What they didn't was largely roped off. I guess most of it will get fixed between now and Saturday. Didn't get west of North Peak Lodge today, but Obsession was jaw-dropping nice - best I'd ever seen it. Overall, they didn't get hurt too bad from the precip. How did you fare at your place with the heavy rain??

I'm pretty sure that at least one of these issues had an article with pics about Okemo. If so, I'll scan that one first. The equipment ads are an absolute hoot - it would be fun - even if after ski season - to start a thread on old equipment. I've got enough "ammo" here to get some great laughs - also some major sighs at the prices of offered trips to Europe....we pay more now for a decent set of bindings  -- but I'm dating myself again.....
