Learned of sad news from Vermont today. Cleon Boyd, 64, a long time groomer at Mt. Snow died last week of COVID-19. Other members of the Boyd clan have tested positive. His younger brother is on a ventilator.

More sad news. Learned today his twin brother Leon Boyd, also on the groomer crew, died today from COVID-19

Decision time for our annual Steamboat Race Camp announced later than usual but by midnight going into June 15th. I was hoping we'd know a little more by now, but I'm seriously concerned about 2nd wave. We haven't even reached peak of first wave here in SC. After reopenings 2-3 weeks ago, COVID-!9 cases are seriously going up here in SC. Having a serious fear of things on my face since oxygen for lung infections as an infant, would I even enjoy flying & skiing with all the safety needs? After 12 years going, should I just skip my two Colorado trips this season and stick to skiing NC & VT?
