Is Anyone Skiing the Blizzard Thunderbird R14 Sport CA (2025)?

I was intrigued b/c I think I'd like a frontside carver that is lighter than my Stockli AS. I love the AS, but they are HEAVY. For all day work on technique I wanted something lighter and more forgiving. Plus, they were only $300 brand new w/bindings.

Anyone else skiing these puppies?

I am not currently skiing this ski but I have skied it.
It's a really nice carving ski with a nimble tenacity.

They just arrived and are sitting in my office taunting me. Definitely lighter than my AS. I hate the graphics, but a girl can't have everything.

Complaining about graphics almost makes you sound like a man.

Joking aside, when I was working at ski shops it seemed men were more cranky about graphics than any woman I ever worked with.

Well, they are unisex skis. But I'm not really into "girly" skis anyways.
Me neither, but livid orange with black is not a favored choice. I work in the explosives industry and it seems that every logo is red or orange and black. After 30 years looking at that color scheme I'm over it.
