Impromptu Diva Day at Okemo!!!!

What makes a good ski day even better??? A day when you start out expecting to ski with two Divas, and end up skiing with FIVE!

Today I'd planned to meet Nannymin and Ski Now Work Later at Okemo. (And yes, that Nannymin sure gets around!) So who do we end up running into? Lilgeorg (of course!), Bernie (come on now, Bernie, you have to start posting!), Tcarey, and Cnewbound! Add me into the mix, and that's SIX --- yes, SIX -- Divas at Okemo Mountain Resort!

Better yet, it was snowing ALLLLLL morning. Conditions were fabulous (okay, it wasn't A-Basin, but pretty darn good!). And there was NO ONE on the hill, except for us Divas. And a few Diva Dudes! Kind of like the Yellowstone Club, right, Nannymin?

Was it fun???? Of course! Did I have my camera??? Of course not (I NEVER have it when I need it).

Ok....that is SO FABULOUS!!! To think I was just with Nanny 2 days ago and now she was with you! I'm jealous!

SNWL did have her camera, and Nannymin took a page out of NVG's book and got some guy to take a picture of us.

She's probably still on her way home. Maybe she'll post it.

Tired??? What's that? Actually, I think the excitement of getting to go. helped stave off that. After Saturday's little foot incident I wasn't sure if I would be able to, so I was a happy camper to get to go! The trip home on the other hand was a different story. All warm and cozy in the car for 4 hours of driving is a bad thing! The only way I could stay awake was to talk on the phone, which I did for the entire 4 hours home. Then I crashed as soon as I unloaded all my gear. My bed never looked so inviting!

Anyways, Okemo was the official whoopee doos day. What a blast! Robyn, you so would have been laughing at me! I can't help myself everytime I get the slightest bit of air I MUST make some kind of silly sound!

Bernie, you really gotta join in and post! Especially about your goggle situation. I'm sure there are divas here that would love to help you out.

Tcarey & Cnewbound are AMAZING skiers! Cnewbound even demonstrated how she due to a knee injury that she should be skiing on one foot.
