I'm such a Jacket Slut!

I picked up this jacket on clearance at my local shop over the summer. It was a bit tight in the hips in July but that was 15lbs ago any by the time ski season really gets started probably another 10-20. I'll pair it with grey bibs or neon green pants that I already have until I hit my goal weight when I'll be looking for a pair of fun colored bibs.

Weather in Quebec is similar to Vermont or Maine. D#$n cold!! Need lots of insulation.
I get it. I've lived in NH, northern NY, and Newfoundland. Effing cold. Luckily, I run hot. I do agree that the Montec gear isn't the warmest. I even have one of their insulated jackets and it isn't exactly toasty - especially in wet weather. But it sure is a fun design when it is above zero and sunny!

Love it @Robyn . And congrats on your weight adventure. I lost 25 last year and it really helped my skiing. I have what I think is that identical jacket (mine is a shell). I pair it with an alarming number of colors and patterns in pants and bibs.

Oh boy, my favorite jacket, the Stio Environ, is out in a smashing fun pink this year. Fun story is that I picked up a new pair of Environ pants last year on sale from a shop in New England and when they arrived, UPS had damaged the package and gotten grease on one of the lower legs. I filed a claim with UPS and returned the pants (I was sad!) I was pretty sure I could get the grease out but didn't want to risk it. The shop was able to remove the grease, then called me and asked if I would like to buy them again at a HUGE discount. Yes, please! They are the kind of periwinkle purple/blue color. Anyway, I think I will wait for some sales and pick up this jacket to finish the outfit. I am all about wearing bright colors while on the slopes.

Oh wow, that is an eye-popper pink! I love it. I have Strafe periwinkle pants that would go great with that. They are great with my black jacket, but I really love them with my yellow jacket. Navy would go great with the pink jacket too. PLEASE STOP ME NOW!!

@Jilly , if you like that pink, they make it in pants too.

Stio is definitely on my list of jackets and pants to try on this winter. They've put the jacket and pants but not bibs out in a really pretty dark purple. So wish the bibs were in that color.

Yes, that plum color is also gorgeous! I have quite the mix and match mishmash of Environ pants, jackets, and one bib set that I intermingle. I just can't quit Stio--they fit me well, they have functional pockets, are functional for the weather, and they make fun colors and mix and matchability. My husband jumped on the Stio bandwagon and we kind of look ridiculous out skiing in our Stio outfits, but he also is a fan of their stuff in a big way. This was taken in 5 degree F weather so we have big down puffies beneath the jackets. I found the apple green jacket on Postmark for $200 brand new with tags. I had bought the pants on end of season clearance the spring prior, then set out to find the matching jacket. It's still my favorite ski outfit. IMG_0866.jpeg

I love it.

I just bought several cute pink t-shirts. This is breast cancer month so there are a lot of them advertised.
