I'm a Pants Slut!

Love the pattern, and the name! Would these be your first "patterned" pants? They are an excellent entry level choice, IMO . . . . not too crazy and good looking in their own right. You can go crazy with your next pair. They'd be great with Black, Red, and with blue if you can matches/brings out the deepest (Lapis? Cobalt?) color.

I have a pair of light blue patterned pants I dearly love, they're getting a little worn and need some duct tape/gorilla patch repair. These are a brighter blue, and my blue jacket might work, it's hard to tell. I'm still thinking about it, but am encouraged by your answers! My other ski pants are solid colors, another print would be fun to have, and these are the 'short' length.

I actually (nearly) have a pair of something similar for this season, I'm not likely to need them more than once or twice this season as it's shaping up to be another hot winter, but a friend picked some cheap ones up for me from backcountry.com last year and is meant to be shipping them to me this year.... if they ever get around to going to the post office :P

On a different note, I got another store to price match Flylow's price on the taffy foxy bibs, so those will be winging their way to me after all :becky:

I did wonder if you might have gone to evo or somewhere to get a price match. I have already ended up with two new pairs of pants this year, partly due to weight gain and partly because I wanted some insulated pants to snowboard with. I also got these this year, but the waistband is weird and barely stretches so even though once they're on they fit perfectly well, getting them on pops stitches. https://adventureoutlet.co.nz/collections/marmot/products/wms-toaster-capri?variant=34770783633572

Ooh, all those insulated knickers look good! I got a previous season, clearanced version of these (I think all they changed between seasons was the fit of the waistband) but I can't comment on the fit or function until I actually receive them in the next few weeks. https://www.backcountry.com/backcountry-dead-tree-zip-off-insulated-knickers-womens

I thought they looked handy because the side zips go all the way from top to bottom, meaning theoretically I can take them on/off during the day without removing my ski boots, which is always a real chore...

Again . . . more knickers . . .who knew?

Ok, I am admittedly not a pants slut since I have never owned a pair of ski pants that weren't black. But I am aspiring to change.

So the question is:

Do these pants

go with my new ski jacket?

They are ridiculously inexpensive at $59. Of course shortening will raise the cost somewhat.

I would say so, assuming the color on both pictures are accurate! It's a nice call-in to the jacket's blue, and the gradient on the jacket means you don't need an exact match for the reference to work.

I would say yes - the reviews on the Nordic blue colour consistently mention it's a very bright electric blue, which seems good with that jacket!

I vote yes, the blues in the jacket look similar in tone to the blue of the pants, i think they'll complement each other well!

I am biased though. I just love that pant colour regardless.
