If you had a walk up song when you take your first ski run of the day...

Welcome and I love your song choices! I was also a kid when “Physical” was popular. My mom used to do aerobics and I thought that was what the song was about!
OMG, I remember in middle school, we would learn aerobics, and our male gym teacher would play this song. I too, remember thinking it was about aerobics or exercise SMH

More than one person asked what a Walk Up Song is and I thougth I'd explain.
Its not necessarily a song you will actually ski to but instead its a song that speaks to your soul as you throw your skis over your shoulder and walk up to the slopes to click in.

No walk up song, but random (really random) songs do pop into my head, more so in the mountains than surfing ..... last ski day as I clicked in to my bindings this song popped into my head, no idea why: "Lady Picture Show" by the Stone Temple Pilots. I then proceeded to remind my self how good they were with a 2 hour review of their songs on the way home. I really like "Big Bang Baby," could be someones walk up. Other random mountain song of late was James Gang "Funk #49." No idea why it came to mind but it was apropos at the time.

Sometimes it seems like I get into song/band themes for a while so things are always changing, I don't think I could limit my self to just one walk up song. I ended up revisiting Jethro Tull after the Volkl Beauty full send video from last year with Locomotive Breath.

@Briski as an eternal Offspring Fan, really any song but I would have to pick "Original Prankster" as my theme song ;)

This thread has been so much fun. I do think it would depend on the day or the slope of choosing. For me the Whistling kisses is just fun.. I could imagine skating up to the slope, maybe twirling a pole, kinda suantering/skating..... or just coming kinda with hands in the air on a maybe walking up with skis in hand not yet clicked in. This has been a great distraction from a very busy/crazy week.

Would a walk up song maybe be weather dependent. For those of us who have to endure rain, would a very rainy day be different from a blue bird 50 degree day or the snowy day?

This thread is epic! I love thinking about it. When I was a tween skiing at Mount Sunapee, I used to put my CD player in my pocket and listen to the Phish "Story of a Ghost" CD. My first run song would be "Tweezer Reprise"

I think so.
For instance, a walk up song I'm feeling on a warm spring day may be very different than something in my head when I'm clicking in on a powder day.
