@FayGoneAstray asked about posting this petition and permission has been granted. She knows that there are a lot of Ski Diva's that are concerned about Covid transmission and skiing this winter. The sponsors are asking for vaccinated people only be allowed to ski or ride. They have a good argument. And most of the Canadian provinces are going to be using a QR code to prove vaccination to enter just about anything except a store, drug store and the ER.

Thank you! Locals and potential visitors to WB please read carefully and consider if you wish to support and sign.

Please bear in mind some particular local conditions regarding this situation. Aside from one chair (which only goes mid mountain!) there are only gondolas to get up the mountain (and no choice for Creekside or Blackcomb side) - so the majority do not have the option to get on a chair to get up to the mountain. At full capacity you will be inches away from riders (shoulder to shoulder) and it is not exactly a short ride to the top (c. 15 minutes).

Any international visitors you will be required to to be vaccinated to visit Canada but then you could find yourself sitting cheek to cheek with someone unvaccinated in an enclosed space.

There is a bad fourth wave taking place in Canada and we hope to keep our ski hills safely open for the entirety of the season.
