I just bought new skis!!

Hi ladies
I just had to share the news with like-minded people....
I just purchased my first pair of skis since 1994 (I missed a few seasons, then rekindled my love for skiing, and it's quickly become out of control since then....)
But there's a catch. I do not get to see them until May 2008 :Cry:

I purchased K2 True Luvs here in Sydney, but the '07 season stock had sold out (a great ski, I heard them say), so I was offerred a deal to pre-purchase next season's ski. Which will be exciting because I will have the new '08 ski at a 'sale' price.

However, it was hard to walk out of the shop after paying the cash without anything to show for it though...!!! So now I just have to wait around 6 months to see them!

PS: love the forum! I've been a bit of a lurker - this is my first post.

It's always hard to leave with out your goodies in hand! Congrats, though! Sounds like you're getting an awesome deal. If I recall correctly, it's getting to be about summer for you now, right? So that should make the wait a little bit easier. A little.

The Tru Luv is a great ski! It's seriously one of the most popular skis in our shop for women!

I'm excited too because I just bought this year's Dynastar She's Trouble BC w/ a PX12 binding for $300!!!! Wooooo!!!
