I forgot all about the poles!

Just realised that I've ordered skis and forgotten poles!!!

Hmmmm that aren't really any that are my size on the site that I ordered the skis from!

Is there anything specific other than length that is important to consider when looking for poles? Also I'm so short (five feet tall) that a pole designed for a kid/young teen will be the right length - would these be okay to order?

Poles are poles. But there are different types of poles. Racing poles are definately different - those curved ones you see on the racers. Poles can be made from different materials. The least expensive are made from aluminum. Here in Canada they cost about $29.95. But you can get carbon fiber - stronger, springy and $$$$. Also there are different types of grips. Leki has the "trigger" type of loops on their grips.

For you just get something that matches the skis. Rossi had a matching pole to that ski. But anything that is burgundy and orange, or basic black should be good.
