Ski Diva Extraordinaire
You divas are just amazing and supportive---thanks! But hey, I can only take probably less than 1/3 credit for any of it. The other 2/3 gets split between 1) conditions, which were perfect - the old "hero snow" - as well as no wind and 28 degrees, and 2) the right equipment - FINALLY - the right boots, and they fit, and the right skis for what I like to do.
Some days the cards just all fall in right.
I really want all of you to know that in my few decades as a skier, I've been through most of the up and down stuff: pregnancy/childbirth/young kids, illness, injury, aging parents that needed care, sick kid, job changes, relocation. As much as we all love skiing, sometimes "life" gets in the way. Don't ever get discouraged that life's current or next curve ball may take you out of the game. It won't!!!
