I am so SICK of being SICK!!!

My first beautiful & epic winter in Aspen has been tainted with sickness. As I type right now I am totally stuffed up, sneezing, coughing up some gross yellow stuff & can't hear out of either of my ears. I'd take it in stride, but this is my 3rd time fighting off a damn cold since November!

In January I came down with bronchitis...and it took me until just recently to completely kill that off. What a nightmare!! No wonder I'm struggling while hiking for turns this season. It's dreadful!!

OK that's enough venting. I'm going to go OD on some vitamins & herbs & hopefully get this thing out of my system.

Anyone else been sick a lot this season?

I'm with you. The bronchitis, sinus infection, miserable. I think I'm finally on the mend. If it yellow - infection maybe?? Need some antibiotics?

I'm thinking the same... Fortunately I haven't been sick since last feb, but I'm usually one to always get bronchitis. EVERYTHING for me turns into bronchitis.

Skigrl, go see a doc. Sounds like you need some antibiotics. You probably have a sinus infection and it's draining... hence the reason your coughing it up <gross, yes, but we all get it.>

I have a sinus infection now too. Just got back from CO ski trip and we had 3 condos of people. Condo 1 had 6/8 people come down with a REALLY bad viral infection during or directly after the trip. 4 people had it during the trip and literally could only ski 2 days or so due to intestinal issues.

Our condo had the sinus infection, and now most of us have caught it. The other condo was apparently the germ-free zone.

It sure sucks being sick, but I'm glad I didn't get it during vacation, and at least I didn't get the virus!

^^ Yeah it's totally your fault! Now I'm trying to figure out why I'm at work today. Probably because I've already used up so many sick days!!

I think I'm going to hang in there until lunch time...go home...drink Nyquil & pass out.

The sudden onslaught of new posts in re sick or injured really has me concerned!!! Doesn't it seem to be just in the past week or so?? EVERYONE GET WELL. ME TOO.

I've had two really nasty colds this winter, and Mr. Ski Diva has strep throat now. At least it's better this week than next (Solitude!!!!).

Enough already!

I'm taking Airborne til the Solitude trip is over. If I get strep from Mr. SD, I'll kill him!

I also know that Lilgeorg is sick right now. Feel better, Lil!!!!

I'm supposed to be skiing right now... however, BF woke up, and the coughing and soar throat from last night is now worse. Greeeaat. I just made a run to get movies, ginger ale, snacks and cold medicine. He'll be seeing his doc tomorrow.

Looks like trying out the new gear will have to wait...:Cry:

Two packets of Emergen-c every day has kept it at bay for me thus far this season but y'all are scaring me!
