I am so not a fashion diva . . . I'm a Ski Diva

I just saw the Sex in the City movie with my neighbors. Let me tell you, I laughed more at the outfits than the one liners. I can't imagine wearing any of the outfits I saw in the film! I am so not a fashion diva. Or the shoes! And I would never put a bird in my hair even if it was my wedding day.

I am so glad that I am a Ski Diva! :ski2:

I haven't Sex in the City (although I will probably get around to it at some point)...but I'm with you. I'm not a fashion diva and will take being a ski diva over that any day!

The dead bird was too much!

I have fun with my clothes sometimes, but whole dead animals have never perched on me

I would totally wear many of the shoes in the show. But I love shoes, and have many, many shoes.

Has anyone seen "Forget Paris" and the scene where Debra Winger gets the pigeon stuck to the fly paper which then gets stuck to her hair? Ha! It was just on tv the other day, I watched it and immediately thought of this when bird in hair was mentioned. Haven't see SATC either and probably will not until DVD :(

Good thing there is room for all divas here.
Ski, snowboard, fashionable, practical or any combination.

I found it difficult to relate to any of the women in SATC, on any level of fashion sense.

Lola you're right. I kept looking at the screen thinking, 'what is that?'

bklyn - you are so right! Lots of room for all kinds of divas! Isn't that terrific? That's why I just love this site.

I think we could find a nice Purple Finch to go with your helmet.

I wouldn't wear them myself. But it's fun to watch people walk by in different outfits.

When I used to live in the midwest, everyone wears jean and tee-shirts. It's soooo boring to look at. Myself, I confess NOT bothering with "what to wear today" each and every single day. But I'm happy others do.

Shoes? Now THAT is a favorate topic.

Has to be a contrasting color!
how about an Indigo bunting?
I know you like nice colours, and this is one of my favourite birds.

I had forgotten about the little Fashion Show Mr SH put on while waiting for a friend to have boots fitted.
