I am seriously crying in my beer here!

Copper reported 10 inches this morning. Now they are saying they've gotten 8 more since this morning's report. And I can't go skiing tomorrow!:Cry::Cry:

Wait your turn!!

That's DH's statement for things like that. But I feel your pain. Tremblant is getting snow today too. Should be about 10" by the time things are done. SkiBam is that what you're getting lower down?

Theoretical beer of course. Heck I don't even get beer at 5 today. I'm off to spin class after work...

I tired to get there this am and couldn't!!

I 70 was ok until after the Georgetown hill. And then it was wet. Windy the entire way. All the message boards said: Vail Pass closed, Loveland Pass closed, Berthoud Pass closed. High wind advisory. Winter driving conditions exist.

We know the drill.

What got me was though, the last sign(right before Loveland Pass)that said: I70 closed at Copper. Time to Copper: 1 hr 45 minutes.

I didn't have time to sit in the traffic at Silverthorne. So I turned around at Loveland.

I was REALLY hoping to use my new Phat Luvs today. Oh well. I'm *sure* they'll get used when I'm in Steamboat next week!

My dad is up there and said he talked to someone who told him that Copper Bowl is waist deep.:Cry::Cry:

I think I'll go open some wine to cry into.

Oh my, I'm joining you guys! (And sorry for the long absence...)

I was planning on skiing tomorrow, but it's been drizzling all day, and I'm fairly certain that it would be major suckage tomorrow, so I'm not going... :(

I also cried two days in mid November. I had an infected toenail and my foot hurt so much that I was unable to wear shoes. It was opening day at 7 at 7 springs and I wanted to ski sooooo bad. But I couldn't even get my boots on or even my ski socks for that mattr. I just sat and I cried because conditions were good for an opening day. I had a beer I think at 4pm. So beer at 3:45 - good idea. Who says there has to be a specific time. lol. Anyway - why were you not able to ski?

Jilly asked if we were getting the dump where I live. Answer is YES! Received at least 30 cm (what's that, a foot?). I'm not able to get to Tremblant until tomorrow (Friday) as I'm committed to x-c ski today. Actually it's looking quite blowy out my window so the top of Tremblant might be chilly - oh, but the Edge would be fabulous!!

Hope someone in our x-c group is willing to break trail, cuz as a "heavyweight" of 105 lbs., it won't be me!

Hi SkiBam - I hear they got 12" and most of it blew off the south side. North will be best. Heading up Friday, ski Saturday with the mob!

Does crying in coffee work? I heard they blew like 4 inches last night at White Tail. LOL! :ROTF:

Hey, 4 inches is better than none.

Copper is report 15 inches in the last 24 and 25 in the last 48. I seriously considered not coming to work today. But, alas, I am here.

Well don't yell at me but here I am wondering if I'll go this weekend because it is COLD. I mean, colder than normal. I need to to get more days in my boots before I can get heaters put in, so I am worried about frozen toes.

PLUS there is NO new snow and no prospects!

I really want to get in some miles, so perhaps I'll go for a 1/2 day in the afternoon on Saturday. Yeah, that's it.

Jealous of those of you who are getting dumped on!
