just got this in an email from Hunter Mt in New York State:

POWDER ALERT: 12" Coming Our Way! Haven't checked the forecast lately? -- According to NOAA, we're getting ready for a possible foot of snow tonight!!! With furture forecasts indicating a nice weekend, come on up and enjoy some spring skiing and riding.

Nice! While we're on the verge of closing ski hills, they're getting some nice new fluff at Hunter. Wish I could take advantage of it!

Oh, man! If only I didn't have so much to do this weekend! I'd get up early and make a dash for it. Oh well. Kiragirl, if you go, enjoy it, and make a post and tell us about it!

12"! :snow: :ski2:
Not that much expected in Maine, but hopefully we'll squeeze 4" out of it?

Fabulous day at Stratton. Loads of new snow, nothing (at least nothing we were on) groomed. Right now, it feels good to relax!

Not as much snow farther north than points south, such as Okemo and Stratton. BUT---we'll take it. STILL snowing at 6:30 p.m.!
