How to sell used ski clothes/equipment?

I have some very nice women's clothing and ski equipment that I purchased, then decided that the fit wasn't right or I found other equipment I liked better for my needs, and I don't know how to best sell it. I'd like to recover some of the purchase price, but am not greedy.:p I live in the Northampton, MA area and ski at Stratton and can get to Ludlow easily.

Have you considered ebay? A great way to get rid of stuff or buy (gently) used equipment.

you may be able to arrange with a buyer that they pay shipping. or, if you use craigslist in your area you could arrange a safe meeting place to exchange goods

Is there a ski swap at either hill, late summer or fall. I can think of 5 ski swaps in our area here in Ontario. Some don't take clothes, some take anything including straight skis. I've always gotten rid of stuff. They usually ask for a registration fee or % of sale to cover costs. If it's a charity run event they could ask for 20% of your sale. Proceed for 3 locals swaps do this - Toronto ski and snowboard show proceeds go to the CSPS as does the Kingston swap. Our local is the race team. Check with a local hill, the YMCA, or the fall ski show.

Craigslist is very easy to use

I sold some skis through craigslist last year. It took 5 minutes to post my ad and 30 minutes to meet the buyer in a parking lot. Amazing!
