When I got on the subway, it was not snowing. When I got off the subway, it was. Nice big fluffy flakes; none of this "I can't decide if I'm snow or rain" nonsense.

Hope everyone can take advantage of this! I'm just heading up to Windham tomorrow, but I've never been, so it should be fun.

From my office window I can see about 1km down the street. I expect that to change once the wind gets up. Been snowing here for about 1 hour.

It must be working its way toward you... We are working on 10 inches here and it is beautiful!! It started about 3 AM and is supposed to last until noon here. Enjoy - but have safe travels.

whaat? It's 1:30 and not a flake here! ( VT). We are supposed to get 8-12 so I guess I have to be patient...
I will be in Killington tomorrow, ready for the first lift!:yahoo:

Sierra, I'll be at Killington for the noon-ish lift and will be at the "Mahogany Ridge" bar around 3:30-4 probably. I have a black jacket with two teal green stripes vertically on the front and black burton pants with little colored confetti squares, maybe I'll see ya there. (oh, and my hair will be messy, haha)

Well they called for the school buses for 1pm to get the kids. We're done at 2. Was out a lunch, visiblity is the problem. Can't see down the street. I'm off for groceries then I think I'll hibernate till tomorrow. And they closed the gym on me!! Can you tell we're not busy today??

It's finally here!!!!:snow:

Kiragirl, I will keep my eyes open. My ski attire is pretty non-descript: black softshell arcterix jacket, cream/white pants, helmet (on the slope)/ cream Isis hat with big blue and green stars. But if you hear somebody swearing in Spanish as she approaches anything steep, that's me:laugh:

Rats! I have to work tomorrow, or else I'd be there, too!

Started snowing here around 1 (greater Ludlow metropolitan area ), and it's coming down like crazy. It's going to be a great ski day tomorrow in VT, ladies!

Ugh, it's moved over to a lovely snow/rain combo thing here. Nothing really accumulating, everything just covered in slush. Looks like I'll have to wait a little bit longer for the first NYC winter wonderland situation. Oh well.

OMG, I am DYING! Our home mountain is expecting a foot and we can't get there this weekend. Too many parties/shopping/baking/etc. We WILL be out there next weekend, hopefully it'll still be nice.

Sort of the same thing here - my gear is at the condo at Tremblant. But they aren't getting any of this. I was just looking out between the wind and snow its just plain not nice. Staying home!
