Help! Obsessed with license plate choice!

After deciding to get a vanity plate for my new Subie, now I'm in a conundrum about my choice. It's got to be skiing-related. After making a few posts here, I decided to start this thread with my narrowed-down choices for comment. I am being so indecisive!:noidea:

Here goes, in order of preference so far:
SKI 360S (I like to do that, it's me)
SNOW DAY (2 magic words for any teacher-skier)
SNOW DOG (don't know what that is, but DH likes it)
SKI DOG (don't know that that is either, but DH likes it too)
LV2SKI (several here have commented on that one)
SKI SWCH (I'm afraid the state will screw up with the spacing and I'll end up as "SKIS WCH")
TWINTIP

Sorry I'm such a pain in the butt, but HELP!

If I remember correctly, in PA you get to submit 3 choices, in order of preference. I also don't think they don't put a space between any of the letters. So if you're afraid that SKISWCH will be read as SKIS WCH, I wouldn't go with that.

That said, I like SKI360S best.

I also like LV2SKI, but I'd be pretty surprised if that's still available. Then again, it wouldn't hurt to try.

The DOG ones, I don't care for too much. A bit too canine (sounds weird, I know). But if you like it, go for it! This is YOUR personal statement.

I like SKI 360S best.

Since "switch" is such an insider term and can be, ah, misunderstood, I wouldn't go for that one.

Let us know what you wind up with! I was inspired by your post and checked to see if Ski Now was available in MA but it's not, so I'm stickin with my regular old plate for the time being.

My favorite is TWINTIP with SKI360S in second place. SNOWDAY comes in third, though those are two words this teacher/skier loves to hear. Around here we generally get "extreme temperature days" instead though.

From what you've listed I think TWINTIP is most original (#1), but perhaps also somewhat "insidery"? SKI 360S is also really cool (#2) - would be awesome if you could get a *small* "S", but I know you can't. For me SNOWDAY is #3.

What about SKI2DAY? I know you didn't ask for more suggestions, but while looking at the list that one just popped into my head.

Come to think of it, I don't believe I've ever seen a vanity plate over here...

As a fellow teacher, I *love* SNOWDAY! But I think I would rank 'em in this order:

SKI360S
SNOWDAY
TWINTIP

Another good one, danke schon! Well, SkiGAP, if you can't get a vanity plate in Germany, you can order a German plate with your own combination of letters/numbers over the internet. I came across a site yesterday with all the European countries. For some reason, it's a thing here people do....put European (mostly German) plates on the front of their car, since PA only requires 1 plate on the back. But I guess it wouldn't be legit for your vehicle!

Yes, the last thing I want is to be a"Ski Witch!" And, I don't really get the "dog" thing either. So I'm crossing those off my list.

Yeah, SNWL, I wondered if you had a plate that said "Ski Now." Interesting that you can check and see if it's available...can't do that here in PA. Our DMV (well, most of our whole state gov't) is horrible.

Speaking of vanity plates. What do you all think of SKI PNW?

SKI360S is my favorite. =)

Yeah, duh...it hit me about an hour after replying to Oragejuice....Pacific NorthWest! I guess I was regionally challenged when trying to decipher that!

OK, thanks!

Oragejuice -
It's a good plate name. It took me a bit to figure it out, since I'm not from there. But all those Washingtonians and Oregonians will know it right away.

(BTW, it's also the only area in the country I haven't visited...sad, huh? because I heard it's beautiful).
