Okay chicas, I'm desperate for new skis. I am riding the most horrid boards you can imagine, and I'm getting ready to go on a powder tour of BC next month. I can't imagine being stuck on these terrible skis during such a great trip. I hate them so much it's not even fun going out skiing. Now THAT is a bad state of affairs.

Could you all keep an eye out for super deals on mid-fats? Demos and used skis are fine too. 163-169cm range. Bindings not necessary. I don't care if they're used, new, last year's ski, whatever.

I am always on the prowl. Mid-fat? Varies by region, in the east we consider anything over 75 a mid - I'm assuming you're looking for 80+??? Will pm you w/details should I see something.

Keep an eye on steepandcheap.com as well. They've had a number of skis, most notably some Lotta Luvs in the last couple of days.

How much are you looking to spend? Check out the sales forum on https://forums.epicski.com, there's a few mid-fats listed there, but several of them are new models and may be to spendy for you. Will mess around with some searches later today since I've a slow day at work!

Yep name a price range and we'll probably swamp you with links. I know I've been checking deals and drooling over a bunch of skis I know I'm not buying, and somehow I doubt I'm the only diva doing it :D

Look at eBay item 200192916030 - Dynastar Exclusive Powder 165 + PX10, 299 auction, 319 BIN + 30 ship. 121-85-101. No idea if these are good pow boards, not my specialty, but I am a big Dyna fan. Seems pretty cheap to me?? I'll keep hunting.

Wow! Thanks everyone!

By mid fat, I'm thinking over 80mm for sure. Think Volkl Aura, Phat Luv, Queen Attiva, that type of ski....

Ideally I'm looking for skis without bindings, for under $300 (I use AT bindings so I'd just dump alpine bindings anyway). Under $200 would just make my day!

You ladies ROCK! Such sweet deals....I am thiking about those Queen Attivas. I hesitate on the 174 Phat Luvs because the 160s were up to the top of my head. They must measure those on running length, because I'm 5'5"...

I bought the Queen Attivas :D Divas to the rescue!

Pretty darn good deal! One of the local shops has the same ski for $500, all manky with rusty edges. I hope I like them, but they've got to be better than what I have. I have suffered enough!

So how did you find all those fab deals so quickly? Shopping tips please...
