Helmet Choice Help

Honestly, I'd do the matte black or the silver for me but I don't like to have things like that that I'll get tired of which I would of the snowball fight one. But, that being said, if you love the snowball one, why not do it?

Thanks

The only problem with the one color helmets on me is that my head is so small that the helmets look HUGE on me!! :ROTF: I really look funny in them, that's why I was thinking about the snowball fight because the helmet did not look HUGE on me. My husband is on the fence. He liked the snowball fight but thought it was silly too.

I still don't know what I am going to do. I may just stick with my hat.

Thanks

Seeing as we just bought Snowball Fight for our 2.5 year old, I would recommend something else. I'm more of a mind like Robyn's that I'd rather have something like black or silver. That way if I decide to change everything else, it always will go with what I have. (Yeah, I'm a little matchy-matchy, too )

Do yourself a favor: don't stick with the hat.

It's not about how you look; it's about safety. I don't think anyone thinks they look really great in a helmet. I know I don't. I wear one because it makes sense (at least it does to me). Obviously, whether you wear one or not is a personal choice. You have every right to do what you want. But I think it does provide a certain measure of protection. Just don't let the look of it be the determining factor.

I'm with SkiDiva on this one. Get a helmet!

Last year my friends were just behind me on a run and witnessed and then tried to treat a teenager who was here on vacation and ran into a tree. He didn't make it to the hospital alive. My friend saw grey matter while trying to save his life. A helmet likely would have saved his life.

A friend of mine had a freak fall while coaching, slammed her head hard enough to cause a concussion even though she was barely moving at the time. Ouch.

I don't know, I think I look kinda cute. ;)

It took me a while to get used to though, and now it doesn't bother me at all. It is all about safety though, not about 'looking good'. If it fits well, you will get used to seeing it on your head, and it won't look odd to you at all.
