Heated Socks w/Zipfit Liners

Since Zipfit does not recommend boot heater use (it may void the warranty), I'm considering heated socks. They are pretty darn spendy ($450ish range), so I'd like to hear from anyone who has experience using them. I've read a number of reviews, but it is always useful to get impressions from real users.

Thanx in advance for any info/recommendations!

They work! I recommend the Lenz compression option if you’re used to a thin sock in a performance fit boot. The regular pairs are a bit thicker. The compression option may not be comfortable for folks with really athletic calves. They also run big so if you can go to a shop that has try-on pairs, I recommend!

Unfortunately, my Lenz compression socks are too tight in my Zipfits. I would look into Sidas, if you have a very snug fit and currently use very thin socks. They have a super thin race option I may look into myself... I touched them at a shop but didn't get to try them on.

ETA: When I was able to use my Lenz socks in last season's sloppier liners I was in, they did work lovely for heating. I also used them this fall on a particularly cold day for golf. I'm so bummed they are so uncomfortable for the front of my feet in the Zipfits. It's like the neoprene just won't stretch enough for me, they do fit my foot like a sock themselves, so I guess I am not surprised. I regularly use the ultrathin unpadded Smartwool socks, so they are super thin. When I tried on my Lenz with my Zipfits and slid them into my shells, I could not move my toes AT ALL... so I haven't tried skiing with them that way this season and have been suffering with cold toes. I should probably try skiing and see if it gets bearable by doing so, but it was so tight it gave me that panicky claustrophobic feeling from not being able to move my toes at all with how tightly they were wedged in... I'm pretty high tolerance with tight fitting boots in general, so I was surprised by how very bad this felt for me.

I originally was able to find a shop who let me try the Lenz on with my boots last season, if you could find that with Lenz and Sidas I think it would be ideal to confirm it all works for your setup.

Thanx @Verve and @MissySki . I have a super low volume foot, skinny ankles, and very muscular calves, so your advice/observations are very much appreciated. My other issue is that I can't tolerate wool next to my skin, so if the e-sox have any merino, I'll have to wear my ultra thin race socks underneath.

The Lenz compression are 35% merino wool and the regular version is 25% merino so maybe not your best option. Sidas also appears to be 25% :/

Ohhhh I wasn't realizing the wool piece. There has to be an option without wool I'd hope...
