Heated mittens

My impossible to shop for BF has a birthday coming up and I thought heated mittens may be a good gift.

I see prices all over the place from way more than I can afford to way cheap that there is no way they work.

Any recommendations?
What features should I look for?

I have a very expensive pair of mitts that I bought DH. When he died I kept them. But I hate mitts. Thermics.

I have Costco heated gloves. Love them. They will be out this weekend.

I thought I read there were battery issues with the Costco mitts? DH now wants heated gloves. If the Costco ones are cheap enough, maybe the battery thing that may or may not exist isn’t an issue?

I have heated gloves from Wildthorn. I got them during their annual "yard sale". They work well, but I would LOVE heated mitts.

By the way the Costco gloves in Canada are by Karbon. Karbon makes ski clothes, so the material is good, just how the electronics are is to be determined.
