Heated chairlift seats!

Just wondering if any of our European friends have any experience with heated chairlift seats! Seems a couple seasons ago, Lech/Zurs in Austria outfitted a lift with wire-lined padded cushions that are juiced for 17 seconds as they come around the base terminal, and now there are 25 chairlifts in Europe with this technology.

Talk about warm buns! :D

Sounds pretty good to me.

I am reading through old posts and came to this one. I love these lifts. Hopefully they come to Norway soon. It is so nice not having to sit on ice for the lift ride. Have you gotten them in the US now?

Yep, In Lech and Zürs the seats are heated and padded (sometime I had the feeling I fell into a sofa), not just a hard seat. Reminds me on heated seats in a car.
Last season I spent my skiingdays in the Montafon (beautiful area!!!) and some chairlifts were also equiped with heating (but just the newer ones).

Don't you have this in Canada/USA!? I would be really surprised if not!

It's a nice feature, but sometimes they forgot to switch it off on very warm days.
