Just wanted to wish a happy, happy day to our neighbors to the north. May your turkey be moist and flavorful, the stuffing and mashed taters abound and the gravy flow freely.

Robyn and SkiDiva, my turkey is starting to smell really good. No potatoes or gravy, but squash and broccoli. There will be dressing/stuffing though. Gotta keep the carbs down for my diabetic father. He chose the squash.

I will say that I have many things to be thankful for. One is the many the friends I have here. Life is busy, but life is good.

Me too! Love squash! I bought a butternut this weekend with nothing on the menu with it but will cook and eat at some point for sure. Uh, oh. I just thought of another recipe I could send it.

Happy T-day girls!

Got home from school (yes, had it today..dang!) and smelled Mom's home-cooked turkey with stuffing, mashed potoatos, peas, gravy...So many other yummy things to list I don't know where to begin!!!

Thanks for the greeting! Hope everyone's day turns out as planned:smile:

Happy Thanksgiving!

We cooked a turkey dinner a couple of weeks ago because we just couldn't wait any longer - I'm going to start celebrating your holiday, too, so that we have another reason for turkey.

BTW, is there something I don't know about turkey that makes it your traditional meal and ours???
