Thanks for the birthday wishes, guys. Great cakes, trady and cupcakes dloveski! Today was a really low energy day for me, so I didn't do much, but I figure since I'm taking time off work, I can pick another day when I'm feeling a bit better and do something with friends.
I had family and a few very close friends come by. It was great to see them, and it came with the added bonus of cake :D I actually had two cakes, one was a small one for snacking that a friend gifted me from Cold Stone, and the other was a homemade one I had with my fam. Pictures were taken of both, I've only got the Cold Stone one uploaded at the moment, I'll post the other one later in case there are any other cake fiends on here looking to drool.
It's a red velvet cake with a layer of cake batter ice cream with strawberries and roasted almonds, a layer of cheesecake ice cream with cherry pie filling and graham cracker crust, a thin layer of strawberry puree over the top cake layer, covered with strawberry-vanilla frosting and topped with a few strawberries and crusted with graham cracker crust.
