Hey divas!
I am looking for a great ski pack this year to do some hiking with and our shop only carries the heli pro which comes in all these crazy patterns which I am not so hot on. I would prefer the diagonal ski carry and if it has a board carry option too that would be great. Any recommendations??

Yes, I just looked on the Dakine site and they all seem to be in loud patterns. I have a 16L Heli Pro, it's plain black and has diagonal ski carry and board carry. I bought it about 2-3 years ago. Maybe if you look around online and other retailers you might find some old stock of these?

A Dakine Heli-Pro in black awaits DH for xmas. Doggone, I was just searching about and saw some in solids. Will re-hunt and post link if I come across it. Best pack ever, worth the $.

I have a Marmot La Meije that I absolutely love. It's got a variety of carry options without compromising accessibility. You can lay it face down and unzip the main compartment - really easy to organize and get to your gear quickly. Plenty of room for avy gear and other essentials. It's not women's-specific, but the medium snugs down for a comfortable fit to tour and ski.

You might also try Osprey. They have a line of snow packs. I recently looked at their stuff at a trade show and it looked solid.
