Squaw got 4 to 6 inches of snow the last couple of days. Couldn't ski yesterday because the upper mountain was closed....the winds were too strong (gusts up to 80 mph!!). But today was fabulous, just like winter again but with lots of sun. Temp in the low 40's so it was comfortable. Nothing was really melting much and it held up well all day, and it had that funny hollow crunchy sound that loosely packed snow gets when you move across it. Great fun, I hope this new snow holds up for awhile!

It has cooled off in northern New England, so there is hope for May skiing up here yet! May 1 or bust!

MSL - Jay is talking about being open next weekend, if they snow this week - Tuesday I think. So, we're not done in yet.
On that note, the Magnolia trees around here are in full bloom!

Here at Sugarbush we have been skiing in summer like weather. It is not fresh tracks, but it is still skiing. Today is a bit cooler, 60s and sunny.

We got about 11 or so inches here on Thursday (in the mountains). Today Tim and I drove up to our local hill and hiked up for some runs. It was fun to be out and get some late season turns in!
