What a difference from last year! We have snow, snow, and more snow, with additional snow on the way.

Yesterday we had about a foot, and I had the mountain (Okemo) practically to myself. Now I know storms can make driving difficult, but if you can get to a mountain to go skiing, go for it. On Sunday, another big storm is coming. If you've been putting off going skiing, don't wait!!! Get out there!!!! The skiing in New England is phenomenal! :ski2:

WOW!
I'm so excited to get to Stowe. Should be handing out lift tickets right now, but instead I'm getting flights sorted out. I can hardly wait to get there!

I'll keep you posted and post lots of pics!

Woohoo! I arrived at Stowe at 5am this morning and I'm headed out to ski now. Conditions look phenomenal! After driving for 9 hours from Greenwich, CT it makes it all worth it!

We're leaving this afternoon for Mt Snow. Looks good there, too.
Can't wait!
Also, Saturday is free demo day. They don't usually have many skis in shorter lengths, but we'll see.....

As of 8:00 a.m. in western Maine on 12/16, it's snowing :snow: and will pick up in intensity all day!

Just heard on Vermont Public Radio today that this is the state's sixth snowiest December on record.

Starting to lose track of all the snowfall and amounts out here in Maine. Got 6" the other day (WHICH day??), on top of the 10" from the prior storm. This is crazy/good :snow: Alas, the weekend forecast gives me pause, as the R* word is in it......... Or how it's referred to on some boards - NCP (non-crystalline precipitation). We can NEVER get too complacent out here in Ice Coast.... That's why I'm outta here. NOW.
