Got my flu shot today!

I had the flu once about five years ago and I never want to go through that again. It was like I'd been hit by a truck. So ever since then I make sure to get a flu shot. I hate being sick -- especially during ski season. It's far too short and I don't want to miss a minute, if I can help it!

Do yourself a favor and get a flu shot, too.

Glad to know that they are out. Usually there is big campaign here in Canada as they are free. I haven't seen anything yet and had heard that the vaccine was delayed this season for a few weeks.

I did the flu vaccine for the first time 5 years ago. That night, I had chills, aches and felt terrible. Went to sleep early and woke up fine. The following year had no reaction with the vaccine.
Some folks have a transient reaction like I did.
