AG is currently in Vermont for the US Cycling Nationals! I believe she's racing both the Super D and Downhill on Saturday.

Wish her good luck and send good vibes for another awesome showing!

I bragged about you over at Alpine Zone. Don't be surprised if a dentist offers you a free beer. He's harmless!

Go get em!!!!!!

Aw, thanks ladies!

We're out staying at a house in Putney, VT. This is the first time I've ever been to Vermont actually - it's gorgeous. I could totally live here - the riding is great. Except I may die from the humidity any minute now. ;)

And it keeps raining and the DH course is somewhat terrifying when it's slick. The top goes through steep off camber grass with big rocks hidden in it and when the grass is wet it's something else.

The Super D course is really fun, but has 3 climbs, so it's not totally suited to me, but the singletrack parts are a blast so hopefully I can make up time there.

And I don't have my DH bike (too expensive to fly with both) so I'm racing the DH course on my Syren (6" bike) so it's not the right bike for the course, but most of it is fun anyway!

Both races are tomorrow. The Super D is at 9am and the DH has qualifying at 11:30 and the race at 2pm. Can't wait!

(and Please, PLEASE let the course be dry... I know it won't but I keep wishing...)

That looks like my kinda ride. I was down at Mt Snow today. It was dry by our standards, but I don't think it was the usual element for Altagirl. I'll be pullin' for her tomorrow though.
