My googles have gone missing, and I need new ones. Does any one have a favorite brand to wear with a helmet? I am especially intersted in ones that have good "side" vision so I don't feel too closed in.

Just becareful. The goggle needs to fit your helmet. Take your helmet with you when you decide to buy. I've only been able to find 1 goggle that fits my face and helmet. And its not lasting like it should. New helmet next year!!

Needs to fit your face too:smile: . I got a brand new pair of goggles because my brother bought a pair and he looked like he was wearing kids goggles. They fit me perfectly.

The guys at my local ski shop like the one with bubble shaped lenses. I like being able to switch the lenses out, two pair would probably be easier, but would cost a lot more.

Oakley A Frames work great with a helmet, you do need to purchase the helmet strap so they fit correctly. They are some of the smaller frames and have interchangable lenses.

Thanks to all the Divas who pitched in to help. Besides the Sierra Trading Post lead, Two other web sites for purchasing were quite good: backcountry.com and altrec.com. I found the Altrec site to be really good. Crusing the sites let me walk into a ski shop and recognize the brands and models I thought would work, and saved the maybe / maybe not debate.

The best for information was smithcptics.com. They have a page on which color lenses work best in different light condidtions. They also list their goggles as small medium and large and to fit over glasses. The Oakley site was good, but not as good as Smith. oakley.com I ended up with a pair of Oakley Stockholm which have a large lense for a small face with a lense for flat light and fit great with a helmet.

And, as one Diva mentioned, be sure to have your helmet with yoo.
