Giro G10 Helmet

I purchased a G10 MX from Tramdock earlier this week. It arrived yesterday and I LOVE IT. DH skied with this helmet last year and says it's the best he's owned.

This will be my 4th season in my G10. I also have the tune ups package in mine which I enjoy on days not coaching.

Robyn - Talk to me about the tune ups. Are they more/less/equally comfortable as the standard earflaps. I've considered these for the last couple of years, but havn't pulled the trigger. Wearing earbuds tends to hurt me after a while and I pretty much always ski with an iPod. Also, I usually ski with just one earphone so I can still hear and communicate with my ski buddies. Can you do that with the tune ups?

I've never had my helmet without the tune ups on it so I can't make a comparison but I don't feel anything related to the speakers. I have a quick volume adjustment that I use for lift rides and such and generally don't rock it so loud that I can't hear my friends anyhow. I do notice that if I don't get the jack all the way in I only get one ear so I guess that's how you could make it one ear.
