My work load has been tremendous lately, with lots of long hours, a few missed bike rides, canceled volleyball, canceled Tee times, you name it, my life has been, .........well, .............as I told Volklgirl, its been my "summer life". In our business, we work like dogs in the summer but have lots of freedom to play in the winter, YAY!
But sometimes, this makes for a scowley SnowHot.
Yesterday, I took some stuff to a job site for my husband, and he said, "lets go for a ride". Off we went, to the local ice cream stand. He was in the mood for an ice cream cone. As I sat there licking my ice cream cone, I thought to myself............
There's something about licking an ice cream cone that makes life seem simple.
So, in the summer day rush, while you're thinking of all the things on your list that you have to accomplish..................Treat yourself to an ice cream cone, and embrace that simple pleasure of licking it!
