Let's just keep the snow minimal until I get back from Durango (hopefully Saturday)! I don't need to be dealing with slippery roads while driving by myself with a toddler! :becky:

It snowed for the first time here on Wednesday and then again overnight last night. All of the peaks are coated and with the beautiful sunshine we have today, it's absolutely gorgeous. The views out of my house are of Sunshine Mountain and Wilson Peak (the mountain featured on the Coors Beer can :becky:), so I'm staring longing at both of them picturing that in just over two months ski season begins! :yahoo::ski2::snow:

WOW!!!! First off, all of you should know that I'm envious of your mountains... beautiful, just beautiful. I don't know if I'd be able to ski if I went to Colorado, I'd probably just stand there for hours and stare at their majesty.

Secondly, holy cow on the snow. We are getting some serious ran here in Cleveland, a big storm front coming across the midwest... what is the rough formula, 1 inch of rain= 10 inches of snow.... wouldn't that be nice!!

That's what lift rides are for. :D

I hope I understood your question the right way.

At the sseason closing in summe they said, that they will reopen the park on the Dacshtein in the middle of September. And as there is a revision for the lifts going on this week it could be possibel, that they open on Saturday. We will what the snowgoddess will bring. But the last years it was always early October when we run our first lines.
