Needless to say, it's been a while since there have been free skiing "passports" geared towards kids in 4th-6th grades. Glad they are back.

Post here if you know of any ski passports. Most don't have a residency requirement. Deadlines can be relatively early for signing up. There is usually a small application fee.

To get things started . . .

Ski Vermont has a program for 5th graders. There is no residency requirement.

It's too late for EpicKids for 2022-23, but wanted to make a note for future reference for the next season. There are programs for Colorado, Utah, and Whistler-Blackcomb. Provides a few days to kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade. There are holiday blackout dates. No purchase of an adult Epic pass is required.

The kids' passport for Utah is for 4th-6th graders. It's good for 3 days at all 15 ski areas/resorts in Utah. Cost is $49 and there didn't use to be a residency requirement.

I can confirm there is still no residency requirement for the Utah passport. We got them for our 4th and 5th graders this year.

Another state to remember for next season is New Hampshire. The ski passport for 4th and 5th graders sold out already.

For kids under age 4, 5, or 6, pays to check if a local resort or a destination resort of interest has free skiing for young kids.
