Vail and Beaver Creek are taking a page out of Salt Lake's book (is it Park City that does this?). They're now offering free skiing or snowboarding on the day of arrival to those flying into Vail/Eagle County Airport and staying in the Vail Valley. All you have to do is bring your boarding pass and Vail Valley lodging confirmation to any Vail or Beaver Creek ticket window and ski out with a complimentary same-day lift ticket. Not bad!
