In case you haven't heard, Princeton Ski Shop is going out of business! (I got the alert from Epic)

They're selling everything wall to wall, starting at 30% off.

The Manhattan store is picked pretty clean already so unless you're really lucky, you won't find much. I heard the NJ store was also picked pretty clean too. Don't know about the Long Island store.

But, the Westchester store is still in pretty good shape, with a lot of merchandise neatly on display, even most sizes too. Special mentioning: I saw quite a few women skis available, at 30-40% off.

Thanks for the heads-up! I'll try to swing by the NJ store on my way home from work this week.

Funny how it's called Princeton ski shop and it's not in Princeton, NJ. Thanks for the info

Ski Barn Paramus (Route 17 north) has two super bootfitters. Tom and Willy. Tom did some serious magic to my boots. I've used him for years. Big thumbs up for Tom. I don't know about the bootfitters at the other locations, I only go to the Paramus store.

That's great to hear! That's the location I'd probably go to as it's the closest to me (Wayne is just 10 min further).

Is it by appointment or do they take walk-ins? My new boots are great but can probably use some adjustments and I want to see what someone experienced says about my stance, etc.

I've walked in, but sometimes found them to be busy and had to wait. Perhaps call and find out when is best?
