Fischer Vision 70 vs Vision Breeze

What are the main differences between the Vision 70's. the Vision Breeze, and oh yeah, the Vision Vapors? I have nowhere to demo these, so advice is needed. Jilly thouhgt the Salomon Topaz would be okay for me, but when I looked them up on line I couldn't stomach the graphics! ps- anyone know how to alter a topsheet?

I know that the Vision Breeze is 74 cm underfoot, as opposed to 70 cm for the Vision 70 (which is last year's model). The Vapor is 76 cm underfoot, and is rated for skill levels 7, 8, and 9 on the Fischer web site (on a scale of 1 to 10). The Breeze is rated 6, 7, and 8.

As far as actual performance, can't help you on that--I've got the Vision Breeze but haven't been on them yet.

OHHHH, I demo'd both the Topaz and the Breeze. I'd take the Breeze over the Topaz on performance. The Breeze held the hardpack, something that Salomon doesn't always do. Oh next years graphics are much better.

I ski the Vision 70s but haven't gotten a chance to try out the Breeze or Vapor, so I can't offer any experiece, though I'm dying to try both.

I have skied all 3 of the Fischers, 70, Breeze, and Vapor.

They are all stiff skis, the Vapor is the stiffest of the 3. The next difference is in the radius, the 70 has the shortest turn radius of the 3.

The 70 and the Breeze ski a lot a like, they are both very user friendly and fun to ski in all conditions. The 70 has a shorter turn radius so it is much better at short slalom turns than the Breeze is. The Breeze prefers GS turns but you can make it do slalom turns.

The Vapor is a pure GS ski. It really only likes to do GS turns down the fall line.

I just got back from skiing my 70s in Colorado and they were great in everything out there too.

I hope this helps.
