Ski Diva Extraordinaire
Okay, I feel a little immature finding excitement in this, but nonetheless it was fun...
Was at Blue Mtn in PA yesterday, and as I was approaching one of the green trails for my last run of the day, I saw it was roped off and they were telling everyone to take the lift to another trail. I overheard the ski patrol tell someone it'll be about 5 minutes. Well, next thing you know I see them take down the ropes and the groomer rides up and off the trail. I high-tail it towards the trail and, along with a small handful of others, flew down the trail, putting the first tracks in the groomed snow. Like a kid running your finger through the icing on the cake, it was a blast being the first to cut through the corduroy - and feeling the ridges of it under my ski was a fun feeling as well.
It was a nice finishing touch to a great ski day!
