I was surprised to this that this morning too!!!! By the way, are you one of the lucky ones going to Killington this weekend?

No, can't make it.

Anyone else? Or an even better question: has anyone been skiing yet?

Just checked into it. It's a maybe for the 10th; depends on the weather, and it's supposed to warm up next week. They just don't know yet.

I'm looking out my window in Pittsfield, and it's 1pm and snow is falling.

I'm sure that natural is falling somewhere up North!

There's been a correction to the first in the east.

Apparently, it wasn't Cataloochee in NC after all. It was Woodbury Ski Area in Woodbury, Conn., which opened Friday, November 3, at 4 pm. I think it amounted to about 100 ft. of vertical.

So if you're the sort that keeps track of these things, now you know.
