First Fridays at Okemo

Okemo is starting a new thing for women the first Friday of every month. It's called Women’s First Fridays, and it's designed to bring women skiers and riders together for some fun stuff. The first one is this Friday at 11AM. Participants will meet in the SnowSports retail shop (in the Base Lodge, at the Clock Tower base area). After a group ski session, everyone will reconvene in the shop for shopping and a snack.

Here’s a sneak peek at what’s to come in the following months. Each month has a different focus.
  • January – Wellness: A free exercise class focused on mental and physical health at the Spring House.
  • February – Connection: A mini-park event at Okemo Parks, bringing skiers and riders together.
  • March – Women’s Month: The Ski and Ride School, along with Patrol, are offering up a Women's Group Ski session followed by a BBQ cookout.
I can't make it this month, thought I put it on my calendar for January.

Just a reminder: there's another First Friday for women at Okemo this Friday, January 3. This time, the meet-up is at 11AM in the Jackson Gore Courtyard. There'll be a group ski session, followed at 1PM by a yoga fitness class geared toward snow sports recovery and injury prevention.

Is Okemo still offering the Women’s Alpine Adventure program, or is Women First Friday a replacement?

First Fridays is something different. I’m sure the website has info about the WAA, so check there.
