For all the Divas, there will be a short quiz.

Finn was named a 2008 Notable Book by the American Library Foundation, as well as one of 2007's best books by the Washington Post and the Chicago Tribune. It was also a finalist for the John Sargeant Best First Novel Prize and is the winner of the Athenaeum Literary Award.

Can you tell I'm proud of him?? :becky:

Now back to our regularly scheduled program....

Wow, the two of you must be one dynamic duo--I'm so impressed!

I've been busy lately between work and skiing, but I can't wait to pick it up and give it a read. I love a good book!

hmmmmm...interesting question.

I would say not necessary, but helpful.

And I'd say not necessary at all -- it stands completely by itself.

I haven't read Huckleberry Finn since the 8th grade. So don't sweat it.

Oh, yay, I've been waiting for the paperback -- our bookshelf is totally out of hand already without throwing more enormous books on there. Evening trip to barnes & noble!!!

Wow, cool. I took 2 whole courses on Twain in college. I was an English major.

I'll definitely have to pick this up.

It's on my list, though I'm catching up right now on about a dozen books I've been meaning to read since our youngest was born last May.
