Faststrap velcro ski straps

I bought a set of these recently and love them. They're a vast improvement over the $2 velcro straps you find at the local ski shop, and (a big plus) they fit around the fatter skis--and they stretch, so you can get a nice, snug fit to keep your skis from sliding when you carry them.

I got the standard Faststraps (https://www.faststrap.com/skistraps.htm), which work perfect on my Volkl Queen Attivas and Fischer Vision Breezes, but there's a version that's a bit wider/longer to accommodate even fatter skis, and a "race" version that has some sort of protective smooth pad to prevent marring the surface of your skis--not sure if this is necessary, because the woven material is soft enough, IMO, and on my skis, the velcros don't come anywhere near the ski surface. It's under $10 plus shipping for a pair of standard straps.

The company also makes ski, ski boot, and snowboard carriers and leashes. I can't vouch for any of them, though, but I can wholeheartedly recommend the ski straps.

You just read my mind Sue! I was just thinking I need some wider and better quality straps for my skis.

I have 2 pair of wider skis (92 and 94w) and the standard straps just don't work with them. Do you think I should go with the standard or the wide boy versions? The wide boy versions are for 130 or higher width so I'm thinking the standard which will also fit my regular (72) skis....

My widest skis are my Queens, 87 underfoot. The straps fit around the skis with no trouble--they stretch more than enough so that I can place the velcro where I want it. I suspect the regular ones will do just fine for your 92 and 94 skis.

I understand that Swix also makes straps for wider skis, but I like these--and they look really cool, too.

Dude, I want the coaches bag! That's awesome!

I hadn't checked that out--it is very cool! It looks like it will fold up pretty compactly, too, when you're not using it. The material that these things are made out of is really nice--it's a soft yarn that's smooth but surprisingly strong. When I ordered my ski straps, they only had 2 colors. Now I see that they've got a whole array of colors to pick from.

I have a velcro strap from Volkl that is nice and wide and has the soft middle pad for between my skis. I wrap it in the middle of my bindings and voila! I am good to go.

I have to admit it does make a huge difference. Definitely worth the few $ to pick up.

I like their boot straps a lot, although I lost mine, and am back to using old climbing webbing again.

I carry my boots like in the boot strap picture on the site, hung over my backpack on a strap. These straps are nice and stretchy and terrific for doing that. I haven't seen the ski straps (I use the velcro ones with the padded center), but based on the boot straps, they'd definitely be worth checking out!

Yeah, unfortunately, Cafe Press doesn't work that way. They have their own items that you can get your logo on; you can't add items from anyone else. I've had a lot of suggestions for items that people would like with TheSkiDiva logo. Just can't afford the up-front costs. Maybe in the future......

An option, if the interested Divas would be willing, would to pre-order and pay for them up front, if we're able to generate enough interest for whatever their minimum order is. I emailed the company to get some numbers.

That's what I was thinking! Something about great minds???????

Let us know what they say about set-up and minimum order.
Thanks.
(I'm in for at least 2 sets of the fat wraps)

Count me in (of course). Plus I'll provide the artwork for the logo.

I'd be interested in 3 of the reg size. Thinking these will make great stocking stuffers. Is it too soon to think about next Xmas?
