It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood:

I need to get a picture posted pretty quick - colors seem to have exploded around here this week.

Kubota Gardens, Seattle. The gardens are pretty special as they were started in 1927 by Mr. Kubota, who along with his family was interned during WWII (despite his sons fighting for the US in the Pacific). When he came home he kept working and they are 20 acres now, and he did most everything by hand. It's such a nice mix of color and evergreen.

@Jenny gorgeous pics, would love to visit Michigan one day.

This a photo that I didn't take but was sent from my local mountain in Western Mass. My kind of fall pic, beautiful leaves on the trees and snow on the ground.

The colors aren't as dramatic as they are up northScreenshot 2016-10-29 18.42.04.png Screenshot 2016-10-29 18.43.21.png , but I had a nice
weekend biking at Blue Mountain in PA. I had an almost-over-the-bars crash and decided I didn't want to injure myself right before ski season, so I'm done with downhill biking for the season. I'll be in Vermont for Thanksgiving, so I hope to break in my first real season at Killington or Okemo. Can't wait!
