Europe ski trip from CO?

The Warren Miller movie is proving quite expensive this year :-). I’ve always wanted to ski in Europe and this movie just re-ignited this!

So, tell me anything I should know about Europe vs Western US skiing. I have an IKON pass so could ski Zermatt- but I have friends in Munich- so would love to route through there and ski somewhere reasonable distance to there.

I’m thinking either spring break this year or next so March 20th for a week and a half. My 10yo daughter and me and maybe husband. We both are pretty solid double black skiers with Mary Jane as our home mountain- we like bumps and trees etc.

Heidi was my favorite book growing up - so I want to whole pretty alps village, fondue and chocolate eating experience. She has never been out of the country- so I’d like her to experience a different language and culture.

I have no idea where to start- so would love any input.

Check out Wengen in the Jungfrau.....storybook village and all.
Zermatt is very pretty as well. Both are pedestrian free but Zermatt has so many electric cars zipping around.
