So I went to return to epic ski to post a rebuttal to a man stating how wrong I was about , uh, any possible knowledge me,myself & I as well my Dr. and the CDC are about HPV & cervical cancer. NOT a funny subject. But, my computer or the internet won't let the real epicski.com come up on my computer. It appears the website has been hi-jacked! Is this a sign ???? Don't bother ??? Can anyone out there get on epic ?

Yeah, they must be having problems. I get it for like a quarter of a second, then it jumps to something else. I'm sure they're working on it.

I can get on at this point; it's a little later in the AM....
but anyway how could you, your doctor or the CDC possibly know anything about cervical cancer in comparison to a clearly "all knowing" epic poster......just kidding.....have you ever noticed how appropriate a lot of those Epic emoticons are (beating a dead horse, hissy fit, dueling sabers, etc.)....epic is epic as SnowHot/TrekChick would say........nevertheless will look for your rebuttal!!!!!

Okay, so if Epics problem is resolved mine isn't. What magic is performed to get the epic site to show up on my browser ? I've tried leaving explorer to netscape. It's been a nogo.

Is it just me ?

You are not the only one having a problem

There is a full explaination in the community announcements, which you can read in full when you get back in, but this is the best way to fix the DNS catch up to the domain name issue.

uggh... My ISP sucks.

As of right now, despite the DNS traversal across all root servers being good for epicski.com, some Qwest subscribers are without access.

My ISP sort of shrugged their shoulders at their DNS servers being out of date despite TTLs for that parking A record expiring hours ago.

SOLUTION:

Go to www.opendns.com. Follow instructions. Done, back in business.

For some it has made a difference and some it has not. I never had a problem getting on Epic. Go Figure! One of the moderators couldn't get on at all, and another could get on through a thread link but not the forum home page.
